Day 1: Arrival in Paro - Drive to Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport, where you will be welcomed by our representative. Enjoy a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital city, passing rivers, mountain landscapes, and traditional houses along the way.
After check-in, spend the day at leisure or explore Thimphu at a relaxed pace. Depending on arrival time, visit the Memorial Chorten or take a gentle walk through the local market.

Day 2: Thimphu Heritage Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Thimphu’s cultural and spiritual landmarks. Visit Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest Buddha statues in the region, offering panoramic views over the valley. Continue to the National Memorial Chorten, a place of daily prayer for local devotees.
Later, visit the Folk Heritage Museum, National Library, and traditional arts and crafts school, where students learn Bhutan’s ancient creative traditions. In the afternoon, view Tashichho Dzong, an impressive fortress-monastery and the seat of Bhutan’s government and monastic body.

Day 3: Thimphu - Punakha via Dochula Pass
After breakfast, drive to Punakha through the scenic Dochula Pass, known for its 108 memorial chortens and beautiful Himalayan views on clear days. Stop for photos and enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere.
On arrival in Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful and historically important fortresses, located at the meeting point of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Later, enjoy a short walk to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the fertility temple, passing through rice fields and village landscapes.

Day 4: Punakha Valley - Traditional Villages & Monasteries
Spend the day discovering the quiet beauty of Punakha Valley. Visit local villages to experience Bhutanese rural life, traditional homes, farming landscapes, and warm local hospitality.
You may also visit Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, reached by a scenic walk through rice fields and countryside paths. The chorten offers beautiful views of the Punakha Valley and surrounding mountains. The rest of the day is relaxed, allowing time to enjoy the natural setting.

Day 5: Punakha - Paro Heritage Tour
After breakfast, drive back to Paro, enjoying scenic views along the way. On arrival, visit Paro Rinpung Dzong, a fine example of Bhutanese architecture, followed by the National Museum, housed in an ancient watchtower overlooking the valley.
Later, explore Paro town, known for its traditional buildings, small cafes, handicraft shops, and peaceful local atmosphere. This is a good time for souvenir shopping or a relaxed cultural walk.

Day 6: Tiger’s Nest Monastery Hike - Departure
Early in the morning, begin the hike to Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger’s Nest. Perched dramatically on a cliffside above Paro Valley, this sacred monastery is Bhutan’s most iconic spiritual site.
The hike offers unforgettable views and a deep sense of peace, making it a perfect conclusion to the journey. After the visit, return to Paro and transfer to the airport for departure.
